Another beautiful day in paradise – that was the thought on my mind as I geared up for an early sunrise skate ski. The morning was pristine: a bluebird day with a slight, but crisp winter chill in the air. Slowly, putting one ski in front of the other I began to warm up as I glided along the freshly groomed trail. Stopping for a moment to take in the sights and sounds of the peaceful morning beauty that surrounded me, I looked back at the trail and thought: “now those are some fresh tracks”.
